Description

Joaquín Sabina is a singer-songwriter and poet, one of the most prominent figures in Spanish music in recent decades. Since his musical beginnings at the end of the 70s, Sabina, as he is popularly known by his followers, has released 18 studio albums, five live and three compilations.

It is estimated that he has sold more than 10 million records. However, Sabina's career has not been limited exclusively to her solo career, some of her collaborations have also been very famous and she has also composed for other artists such as Ana Belén, Andrés Calamaro or Miguel Ríos, are just some of the names.

In 2001 he suffered a mild stroke that put his life in danger, he managed to recover without suffering physical sequelae, but this warning led him to rethink many things and he fell into a major depression, which led him to leave the stage for a while.

However, Sabina emerged victorious once again and after banishing all her ills she returned with 'Tell me on the street' (2002), which would be followed by 'Mourning Relief' (2005) and 'Vinagre y rosas' (2009), which until date is his latest solo album.

Sabina has not only dedicated herself to composing song lyrics, both for herself and for other artists, she has also published poems in the magazine Interviú which, together with some of her song lyrics, have been compiled in nine books that Sabina has published to date. the moment.
